The Synauson logo and how to use it
Writing about Synauson, building on it, or putting it in your product? Everything you need is here. Use it freely and keep it recognizable.
The kit holds the horizontal logo, the mark, the compact mark and the wordmark in color, reversed, black and white, as SVG, PDF and PNG; app icons and social images; the color and type tokens as CSS and JSON; and the full usage rules. Version 1.0.0.
The mark
A sound wave that settles into a single teal point. Many voices and a lot of noise come in, and one clear answer comes out, right where you are. The name joins syn (together) and son (sound).
Using the logo
- Use the files as they are. Don’t redraw, recolor, stretch, rotate or add effects.
- Use the color logo on light backgrounds and the reversed logo on dark ones. Use black or white when you can only print one color.
- Leave clear space on every side equal to the height of the “n” in the wordmark. Keep the horizontal logo at least 100 px wide on screen and 25 mm in print.
- In the logo the name is always lowercase. In a sentence, write Synauson.
Color and type
#1f2937#008489#ffffffHeadings are set in Inter Display, text in Inter and code in JetBrains Mono. All three are free under the SIL Open Font License.
White-labeling and “Powered by”
If you have a Synauson license, you may ship it under your own brand. You don’t have to show the Synauson name or logo anywhere. If you’d like to say “Powered by Synauson”, the kit includes light and dark badges.
The name
Anyone may write about Synauson, say their product works with it, and use the logo to do so. Please don’t imply that we endorse you when we don’t, use “Synauson” or “Syn” as the name of your own product or company, or register domains or handles containing “synauson”. A community project may be called synauson-something if its README says it isn’t official. The full policy is in the kit.
